To open their tournament play, Team Louisiana had the dubious task of taking on defending State Wars champion Team Colorado. While our ladies played hard, they ultimately suffered a 500-19 loss and were sent to the elimination bracket. In their second game, Team Louisiana fell to Team Michigan, 421-97, and was eliminated from the tournament.
Team Louisiana played extremely hard in their two games and represented our state very well. We’re so proud of everyone on the team, especially our Cajun Rollergirls on the team – Alpha Bitch, Rageous, Psycho Beast (retired), Coach Dutch (retired) and Delirium Trigger (transferred to BERG).
We’re also proud of former CRG announcer DJ-TJ and one of our current announcers, PR Mageddon. Both were in Daytona Beach and announced multiple games during the weekend, including Team Louisiana’s opening game vs. Team Colorado!
