Saying Goodbye to Two Outgoing CRG Skaters

There’s a lot going on with your Cajun Rollergirls’ season finale this Saturday in Thibodaux vs Tragic City. Not only will this game close out our 2016 season AND feature a recognition to our awesome First Responders, but it will also sadly be the final CRG game for two of our awesome skaters – Miss D. Meaner and Cat O’ Lust.

While only in her first season with CRG, Meaner has made a huge impact on this team. Her energy, spirit and go-getter attitude have helped to improve us as a league. She has brought some great ideas to us off the track, and some enthusiastic play on the track! We wish her and her amazing husband, Hawk, the best as they begin a new chapter in their lives with a move to Augusta, Ga.

Our current league vice president and team co-captain, Lust has been one of our most valuable skaters since joining the league three years ago. She has brought her strong will, determination, forward thinking and a little bit o’ sass (OK, a lot of sass) to CRG and has quickly become a fan favorite. She has become a great leader and friend both on and off the track. Unfortunately, her career has had her move to the New Orleans area, but we know she will always be a Cajun at heart!

Both of these amazing women will be sorely missed, but they will always be in our hearts and will always be part of the CRG family. (Ok, ok… we promised ourselves we wouldn’t cry…)

So, make sure you’re at Big Warren this weekend to cheer them and the rest of your Cajun Rollergirls on as we close out our 2016 season!
