CRG Nation, we wanted to share a very touching and powerful moment with you. Yesterday, your Cajun Rollergirls visited The Haven, Inc. to deliver the donations we collected as part of our involvement with Louisiana Derby Presents Mardi Bras 2015. Throughout February, we collected $750 in monetary donations and appx. $2,000 in donated personal hygiene, clothing and other needed items! (so much so that we couldn’t it all into one picture!). The Haven’s staff was deeply touched by the donations and offered their heartfelt thanks and appreciation.
We want to say thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, CRG Nation and the entire Terrebonne/Lafourche community for your generosity! You really stepped up, and results like this show how much our community cares. Your Cajun Rollergirls are honored to be a part of this community and to work with The Haven and many other great non-profit organizations in our area. We hope we can continue to help them as much as possible in their respective missions.
